Upon your arrival in Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives will greet you and assist you to reach hotel. You will be served with welcome dinner with Nepali cultural show. Few discussions for entire travel plan during dinner. Overnight stay in hotel.
Kathmandu valley comprises of unique tradition and culture with beautiful world heritage sites. Within valley, there are six world heritage sites: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar square. You have choices among these heritage sites to visit in a day tour. Patan Durbar square, Swoyambhunath and Bouddhanath can be visited or you can think of organic town Bhaktapur and Pashupatinath one of the greatest temples of Hindu. Even Kathmandu Durbar square can be visited during evening time or in morning time. It is near- by Thamel.
The Durbar Square of Kathmandu holds many old palaces, buildings, temples and statues from medieval times. The destructive earthquake of 2015 destroys many monuments which are currently repairing and rebuilding in similar look as before. Overnight stay in hotel.
Note: You have option to select Kathmandu City sightseeing tour along with your trekking plan or we can drive to Pokhara for trekking in 2nd day of your arrival.
In the early morning either we catch a Tourist bus or our private vehicle to reach Pokhara city. We will drive around 7 hours altogether to reach Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city with magnificent Himalayan views from every corner of the city. After check-in to the hotel, we simply stroll around Fewa lake.
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool in a private car/jeep. We start our trekking from Tikhedhunga and will reach Ulleri in the evening. The trail passes through a rhododendron forest. During spring, rhododendron flowers bloom and make the forest beautiful. The beautiful Machhapuchhare observation will be very interesting and exciting.
After breakfast, we start our trekking by leaving the Magar village of Ulleri. We ascend slowly through rhododendron forests to reach Banthanti. In the spring, the forest becomes colorful and beautiful with varieties of rhododendron blossoms. We reach Ghorepani for lunch. After lunch we explore Ghorepani.
The major attraction of this trek is the sunrise view from Poonhill. Early morning, we hike to Poonhill for a sunrise view from the Annapurna range. Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), all are shined during rising sun from the mountain. The breathtaking moment will make you spellbound by the beauty of the Himalayas. After spending a little time on the hill, we descend to the lodge and have breakfast. We descend to Ghandruk via Tadapani. We transfer to the lodge and freshen up and enjoy the coffee/tea.
Today we reach Pokhara by afternoon and explore a few tourists point over there. Late afternoon we will have boating in Fewa lake. If you want to experience Paragliding, you can have time to view Pokhara valley from the sky.
Finally, we left Pokhara to reach Kathmandu. The trek finishes after we reach Kathmandu.
Note: Basically, Annapurna region trekking starts from Pokhara and ends in Pokhara too. Besides this trekking, we organize the Kathmandu valley tour and Chitwan Jungle Safari, White water rafting, and many others tour activities we organize.
