Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel

    Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel. You can rest and refresh yourself after your long flight. Later, you can explore the streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub in Kathmandu that offers a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

  • Day 02: Kathmandu city Sightseeing and preparation day for Lhasa flight

    Today, you will visit some of the iconic landmarks of Kathmandu, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Swoyambhunath Stupa (also known as Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Bouddhanath Stupa. These sites are renowned for their rich cultural and religious significance in Nepal. In the evening, you will have a briefing about your Lhasa tour and the necessary arrangements.

  • Day 03: Arrival in Lhasa

    Today, you will fly to Lhasa, the capital city of Tibet. The flight will take approximately 90 minutes and offers you stunning aerial views of the Himalayan range. Upon arrival at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to acclimatize to the high altitude and explore the surrounding areas.

  • Day 04: Lhasa City Tour

    Today, you will embark on a city tour of Lhasa, visiting some of its iconic landmarks. You will start with a visit to the famous Potala Palace, which was once the residence of the Dalai Lama. The palace offers stunning views of Lhasa city and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also visit the Jokhang Temple, which is considered the spiritual heart of Tibet, and Barkhor Bazaar, a popular marketplace located near the temple.

  • Day 05: Lhasa City Tour

    Today, you will continue your tour of Lhasa, visiting some of the other popular landmarks. You will visit the Norbulingka Palace, which was once the summer residence of the Dalai Lama. You will also visit the Drepung Monastery, which is one of the largest and oldest monasteries in Tibet, and the Sera Monastery, known for its unique debating tradition among monks.

  • Day 06: Lhasa - Yamdrok Lake - Gyantse - Shigatse

    Today, you will embark on a scenic drive from Lhasa to Shigatse, visiting some of the popular landmarks on the way. You will stop at Yamdrok Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in Tibet, and Gyantse, a historic town renowned for its unique architecture and art. You will also visit the Gyantse Kumbum, a large stupa known for its intricate artwork. Finally, you will arrive at Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, where you will spend the night.

  • Day 07: Shigatse – Lhasa

    Today, you will drive back to Lhasa, stopping at some of the popular landmarks on the way. You will visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery, which is the largest monastery in Shigatse and the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama. You will also visit the Sakya Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Tibet, known for its unique architecture and art. Finally, you will arrive back in Lhasa, where you will spend the night.

  • Day 08: Lhasa to Kathmandu fly

    Today, you will fly back to Kathmandu, marking the end of your Tibet tour. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the streets of Kathmandu.

  • Day 09: Kathmandu city Sightseeing tour

    Today, you will embark on a city tour of Kathmandu, visiting some of its iconic landmarks. You will visit the Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to several ancient temples and palaces. You will also visit the Bhaktapur durbar square. Finally, you will visit Patan Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that is renowned for its rich cultural and architectural heritage.

  • Day 10: Departure

    Today, your tour comes to an end. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight. You will leave Nepal with wonderful memories of your trip to Tibet and Nepal, and with a deep appreciation for the rich cultural and natural heritage of these two Himalayan nations.
