Trip Overview

Kori Trek is a new destination in the Annapurna region. The splendid views of the Himalayas are mind-blowing you never forget this trip in your entire life. The Kori village is located on the top of Sikles village and Tangting village. Kori trek is located in the inner part of the Annapurna Conservation buffer zone which is bordering to Kwholasothar rural municipality of Lamjung and the Madi Rural Municipality of Kaski. This is a newly opened area for trekking with limited services as compared to Annapurna base camp, round Annapurna and Ghorepani poon hill trekking. Kori Village trek can extend to trek Khaphuche lake - Glacial lake in the height of 2450m. Even we can connect Kori trek with Round Annapurna trek which can be connected via Namun la pass 5560m. From Kori Danda, we can trek to Timang village within three trekking days. In next day, we trek to Chame so that we can continue to trek for Thorong la pass(5416m) of Annapurna circuit. These are options that can be extended in our Kori village trek. 

The highest altitude that we trek in Kori village trek is 3800m and it is an easy tea house trekking. The trail follows dense rhododendron forest and a similar fashion house in the hills of Sikles and Tangting village. Kori is beautiful hills with abundant pasture land. In the spring, Green pasture lands and seasonal flowers makes the surrounding beautiful. From the Kori danda, the views of Lamjung Himal(6988m), Annapurna II (7937m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), and Manaslu Himal(8156m) are spectacular.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival

    One of the representatives from our office will greet you at Kathmandu airport, and then you will be transferred to the planned hotel.

  • Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 to 7 hours) Kathmandu valley is popular for its temple and festivals. One can explore a different part of Kathmandu in a full-day city sightseeing. Either you can visit Kathmandu only or can combine Patan city and Bhaktapur - a typical traditional city of the valley. Patan Museum, Patan Durbar square, the Industrial district of Patan city, Swoyambhunath(Monkey temple), Bouddhanath, and Pashupatinath can be visited. Bhaktapur durbar square, Changunarayan, and Pashupatinath can be visited. You can select after knowing the details of each destination or we may add one more additional day to explore all these world Heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.
  • Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 to 7 hours)

    We drive to Pokhara early in the morning by private car/jeep. Along the way, we will have breakfast and lunch. We follow Prithivi highway up to Mugling bazaar and we cross a bridge over the Trisuli river we drive via Dumre Bazar, Damauli, and many other stations before reaching Pokhara. Throughout the journey, we enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas and scenic landscapes. Once you arrive in Pokhara, you will check in to your hotel and have free time to stroll around the lakeside.

  • Day 04: Drive to Sikles (approx. 2 hours) and explore the hugu village of Gurung

     After breakfast, we drive to Sikles, a small Gurung village located at the lap of the Annapurna mountain range. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, and upon arrival in Sikles, you will have the opportunity to explore the village and learn about the ethnic community Gurung.

  • Day 05: Trek to Hugu Goth (5 hours)

     Today you will begin your trek to Hugu Goth, which takes approximately 5 hours. Along the way, you will pass through lush forests, farmlands, and small villages, offering splendid views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges and other surrounding landscapes. We will spend the night in Hugu Goth(cattle shelter).

  • Day 06: Trek to Nohtha (5 hours)

     Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful environment. Even we can trek to Kaphuche glacial lake from Hugu village besides trekking to Kori Danda. There are multiple options that ultimately lead you to the adventure and lifelong memory of this journey. After breakfast, we start to trek toward Nohtha. Today we trek for approximately 5 hours. The trail offers panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, and you will pass through small villages and forests. Overnight stay in Nohtha.

  • Day 07: Trek to Kori Danda (3800m), approx 5 hours

     Early morning we start to trek to Kori Danda. We reach Kori Danda during lunchtime. After lunch, we explore Kori village and enjoy the spectacular views of the Annapurna ranges. Overnight stay in Kori village.

  • Day 08: Trek back to Sikles

    Early in the morning, we take breakfast and start our hike to Sikles. Today, we must walk cautiously and longer also as we are trekking to reach Sikles village. Following the same trail, we reach Sikles, and we will rest and relax. Overnight stay at Sikles village.

  • Day 09: Drive to Pokhara (explore)

    After breakfast, Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara touring can be started with Gupteswor cave and the famous Davis Falls which are close to each other. People believed that Gupteswor cave has religious significance for Hindus and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. While, it is believed that because a Swiss citizen named Davis was swept away during bathing, this small fall has been named Davis Fall afterward and is a popular destination for tourists. The tour then can be followed by the World peace stupa, Pumdikot or even you can enjoy Paragliding and Ziplining. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu

     Drive back to Kathmandu or simply fly for 30 minutes to reach Kathmandu. In the evening, we will have Farewell Dinner.

  • Day 11: Drive to Kathmandu

    One of our office representatives assists you to reach the international airport 2 hours before your flight schedule.
