Trip Overview

Nar Phu Valley trekking is located in the Annapurna region of Nepal which is rarely visited off-the-beaten-path trekking. Before 2002 A.D., it was restricted to visits for foreigners. Those who love to experience adventure with unique cultural tastes would select Nar Phu Valley trekking. The two northern remote villages of the Annapurna region, Nar and Phu cover the entire trekking program. The culture and traditions are still untouched by the modern lifestyle which offers breathtaking views of the mighty Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, and other beautiful snowcapped mountains. During trekking, we walk through rugged terrain, beautiful landscapes, deep gorges, and pristine forests. We must cross the high passes that take you to another valley in the high- altitude. This trek is physically demanding as we must be at the proper level of fitness and experience of trekking. The Nar Phu trekking requires special trekking permits, ACAP permits, and TIMS. This takes almost 2 weeks plus to complete trekking. The trek is organized and guided by a registered trekking agency only. The best season to trek is Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May)
